Antal (अंतल), Antal (अनतल), Antal (आन्तल), Antil (अंतिल), Andhak (अन्धक), Aundh (औंध), Anlak (अनलक), Anttal (अन्टाल) is a gotra of Jats found in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. They were supporters of Tomar Confederacy.
Origin of Antal Gotra

Greek historian Pliny has mentioned about Antal as Amatae, the people living in Sindh.
Andhak Jats were the rulers of Anjai in the north of Mathura. Uttar Pradesh. Initially they lived in Sindh. Found in Gujarat also. Pliny has called them Amitae people, who were known as Antal in Jats.
Antal (आंतल) Jats are said to be from Tanwars who had took out the intestine (आंत) of enemies in a war hence known as Antal (आंतल). This gotra is based on title.
Megasthenes has described about this clan in Indica as Amatae. He writes, Then next to these towards the Indus come, in an order which is easy to follow The Amatae (Antal), Bolingae (Balyan), Gallitalutae (Gahlot), Dimuri (Dahiya), Megari (Maukhari), Ordabae (Buria), Mese (Matsya).
